What is this page about?
It is the preference of this wiki that there be a similar sense of consistency of the various reoccurring terms in the series as there was in the original Japanese releases. However, due to the nature of the English releases being mostly through fan translation and participation, simple things such as a mercenary unit or a magic spell that appears in all titles may at times have multiple translations and thus a player with no background knowledge may miss out on the connection.
As such below is a listing of preferred spellings and translations used throughout this wiki.
